Job Title: Machine Builder
Job Description
We are seeking a Machine Builder who will read blueprints to assemble material handling automation equipment. This role requires experience with hand and power tools, and may involve welding and fabricating when necessary. The position involves 30% national travel. Candidates should be willing to train and learn electrical and mechanical prints.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to assemble automation equipment.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
Perform welding and fabricating tasks as needed.
Travel nationally up to 30% to install and service equipment.
Collaborate with electricians, panel builders, and controls engineers during installations.

Work Environment
The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM. Travel varies and can include day trips or longer installations up to 5 days. Work involves collaboration with a team of electricians, panel builders, and other machine builders. A $50 per diem is offered for travel. The company minimizes time on the road by preparing extensively before travel.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
