Description We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our digital infrastructure by implementing and maintaining advanced security solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in network security, firewall technologies, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage robust cybersecurity solutions to protect digital assets and infrastructure.
Configure and maintain firewall technologies, including Checkpoint and Cisco ASA, to ensure optimal network protection.
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Conduct security audits to assess vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and standards to align with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into cloud-based systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues within the organization's network and systems.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively address risks.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on security protocols and strategies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational security standards. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in Checkpoint and Cisco ASA firewall technologies.
Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and their applications in network security.
Experience with cloud technologies and securing cloud environments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, policies, and auditing practices.
Ability to analyze and mitigate security risks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
