Job Title: Chassis Dyno- Emissions Test TechnicianJob Description
As a Chassis Dyno- Emissions Test Technician, you will work within the Noise and Vibration Chassis Dynamometer Lab and Program Mileage Outdoor Dynamometer Lab. You will be responsible for ensuring first-time quality and on-time delivery of test data across various test areas. You will support engineering groups in meeting federal and internal requirements, requiring a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage multiple projects with minimal supervision during the vehicle development process.
Responsibilities
Set-up and perform emission testing on vehicles.
Evaluate test results and recommend corrective actions.
Install vehicles on the dynos, prepare vehicles for testing, run tests, and remove vehicles and instrumentation.
Communicate effectively with previous and current shift members to ensure continuity and understanding of tasks.
Work with non-intrusive robots and portable test equipment.
Collect and analyze test data.

Associate degree or two years of related experience.
Two years of dynamometer experience.
Experience with data acquisition systems for vehicles.
ASE/mechanic background .
Work Environment
The position is onsite at the Milford Proving Grounds, within a large test garage. The environment is highly controlled and automated, with cutting-edge calibration technology that minimizes engineer interaction with vehicles. You will have access to extensive instrumentation and will work alongside other technicians, team leaders, and support staff. Training will occur on the 1st shift, with flexibility required for potential shifts including 1st, 2nd, and possibly 3rd in the future.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
