Job Title: Digital Forensics Senior Consultant
Job Overview:
As a Senior Consultant in our Digital Forensics practice, you will be implementing the most efficient and defensible methods to assess data from both traditional and diversified sources for preservation, review, analysis, and reporting while using the most advanced forensic tools in the market. The role requires sufficient technical skill to understand and address data file issues, identify and navigate network problems, and diagnose issues. The role also requires the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users, helping them meet their discovery deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Follow processes and procedures
Provide timely responses to project leads
Work on multiple ongoing projects
Provide project status reports
Assist in other related areas of the company as needed or required
Complete annual training and certification as required
Mentor consultants and lab technicians
Delegate tasks as required
Qualifications:
Effective communicator (both written and oral)
Detail oriented, thorough and process driven
Able to focus on and perform routine tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Highly organized and flexible
Able to multitask and meet changing deadlines
Must be able to complete projects with limited supervision
Capable of following forensically sound processes
Able to recognize and escalate potential issues
Professional demeanor and motivated self-starter
College degree in technical preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience providing digital forensics services to Law Firms or Corporate Legal Departments
One or more industry standard forensic certifications such as: Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), AccessDataCertified Examiner (ACE), Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), or EC-Council, ISACA, (ISC)2, & GIAC related forensic certifications
Experience with SQL queries and databases
Experience with computer networking, data security, and computer hardware
Experience with writing scripts in Python or other scripting language
Experience with collecting data from computers, mobile devices, and cloud sources

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,500.00 - $157,600.00 per year.
