Love Creek County Park Maintenance (Seasonal/Part-Time)

$11.00/hr.
This temporary, part-time position allows for a maximum of 1,000 hours per calendar year. It does not include any benefits.
Positions available at Love Creek County Park in Berrien Center.

Duties:

Responsible for assisting the routine operation and maintenance of a county park facility.
Typical duties include weeding, trail trimming and emptying trash receptacles.
Operates machinery such as a gator or pickup truck and other general groundskeeping tools.
On-site training and employee improvement are provided.

Required:

Must be at least 16 years of age with valid identification.
No prior handyman skills or experience required.
An employee in this class is required to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis and is required to wear a department issued uniform while on the job.

General knowledge of the tools, materials and equipment used in the maintenance of buildings, grounds and facilities of assigned park.
