Position: Accounts Receivable Analyst
Location: Saginaw, MI

Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Maintains contact with staff, customers and sales team.
Job Responsibilities:
Under general guidance, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will:
Post cash receipts, research payment discrepancies and maintain clean customer statements.
Monitor, analyze and resolve customer balances (review and work with internal and external customers on variances).
Prepare accurate and timely past due A/R reporting.
Monitor A/R Interfaces and resolve any issues.
Prepare manual billings for customers and submit for payment.
Prepare monthly adjusting Accounts Receivable journal entries accurately and timely.
Ensure effective internal controls are maintained.
Respond to internal and external audit requests to maintain compliance.
Perform other ad hoc analysis (project-based analysis).
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2 years of relevant accounting work experience.
Basic understanding of accounting and internal controls
Ability to work well with others
Strong oral and written communication skills
Highly proficient in Excel spreadsheets
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
