In this position...
Overall, the Strategy and product analyst position is responsible for developing detailed analysis of accessories commodities including developing product recommendations, pricing and go to market strategies as well as channel selection. This position will involve engaging various cross function groups including Planning, Program Management, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain input and alignment on the best in class go-to-market strategy for Ford accessories.
What you'll do...
Work closely with Finance, Marketing and Planning to develop pricing, go to market recommendations and execute based on team recommendations
Develop deep understanding of accessories and market positioning based upon competitive benchmarking, consumer trends, FAD & dealership feedback.
Pursue competitive studies and SEMA research
Collect and incorporate stakeholder input from strategy, marketing, technical, privacy, legal, finance and accounting teams to ensure the proper capabilities and priorities are reflected.
Lead and develop incentive analysis and insights to identify opportunities to improve accessory incentives
Act as the voice of the customer with all product analysts, product managers, senior leadership and development teams.
Success looks like a clearly articulated product strategy, vision and roadmap with milestones to get us from now to launch
Support and develop business cases that drive and deliver future growth for Vehicle Personalization
Communicate the vision to all stakeholders
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in Accessories
Experience in agile development
5+ years of experience in accessories and automotive industry
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint required; Must know how to conduct Pivot tables and Macros in Excel
Even better, you may have...
Experience with Automotive Dealerships, or Commercial/Fleet Operations are a plus...
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to adapt communication style based on the audience.
Thrive in environments where there is a lot of ambiguity, and you have the opportunity to add order
Experienced at building strong working relationships, influencing teams to take action and earning the trust of senior stakeholders.
