HR Generalist I

Schedule:
Full Time: 8:00am -5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Position Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist participates on a team that oversees the human resources responsibilities and activities for over 800 domestic employees.
Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate on-boarding for all new hires, Schedule Physical and Drug Screens, Process paperwork for New Hires and Terminations
- Manage Michigan Department of Unemployment
- Complete EEOC and Veteran reporting
- Assist with Benefits Administration
- Coordinate Corporate Initiatives and Events
- Manage Service Awards annually
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years HR experience preferred
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional accuracy, follow through, and organization
- The ability to plan, coordinate and host various HR events
- Strong customer service/employee relations abilities
- Strict regard to confidential information
- Experience with ADP Workforcenow a plus
Education/Certifications:
- Associate Degree in a business field a plus
- SHRM credentials a plus
