We are seeking a PCF and GCP Architect to provide technical leadership for our critical SAP I-ERP General Ledger application, which manages hundreds of vital interfaces.
In this role, you will be responsible for resolving issues during high-pressure periods like month and quarter-end closes, specifically those related to interfaces. A key focus will also be on improving the performance of GCP-led interfaces. Beyond the technical aspects, you will mentor and guide team members (embodying Ford OS behaviors) and support other Product Development Organizations within the IERP Program.

What you'll do...
Hands-on experience in advanced Java, PCF, and GCP to support Production issues and new development
Performance improvements of month end close and quarter close program to avoid delay to Ford corporate reporting
Convert existing production PCF interfaces to GCP across General Ledger precut line (multiple PDO teams)
Lead and Mentor other team members with technical expertise
Develop program best practices and standards.
Analyze, debug, and identify the root cause of the Production issues.
Support ongoing enhancements and change requests.
Over all Architecture knowledge to support all kinds of incidents.
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree in technology, or a related field.
5+ years of Object-oriented Development experience where you applied Java Enterprise concepts with the following tools and technologies:
Spring Platform (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud)
Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and technologies (Jenkins CI or similar)
2+ Experience working with hybrid cloud environments such as researching the best use of cloud products and the ecosystem, designing, developing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
2 years of experience in Agile practices (SAFE, Scrum, Kanban, TDD, etc.)
Experience with microservice architecture, REST APIs, SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA, etc.
Deployment of APIs, usage of Apigee, and troubleshooting APIs and Apigee Proxy framework
Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Software as a Service Cloud delivery models, and the current competitive landscape.

Advanced degree in Technology or a related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience
Systems Architect - implementing and laying down the entire enterprise infrastructure.
