The Infusion Registered Nurse is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care, including patient education specifically in the care and management of patients receiving extracorporeal photopheresis.
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family; assesses the needs of the patient undergoing ECP treatment; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; and teaches patients and families.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse to practice in the State of Michigan
Two (2) years or more of RN experience
Two (2) years or more of recent (in the last 3 years) experience administering chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy
Two (2) or more years of recent (in the last 3 years) hematology/oncology RN experience

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.

Hours: 28 hrs/week. Monday through Friday, 8- and 10-hour shifts
Shift: Primarily days: Variable days of the week. Includes weekends and some holidays. Variable shift lengths. Flexibility required.
The standard hours of operation for the CW Infusion Center are Monday through Friday, 7:30-6pm and Sundays 8-430 with extended hours for continued patient care.
Location and home unit: CW BMT Adult Infusion Unit, but will be expected to float to the Cancer Center Infusion Clinic if staffing requires
All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
