NOTICE OF JOB OPENING – SANILAC COUNTY PARKS
Position: Sanilac County Forester Park Manager
Department: Sanilac County Parks
Hours of Work: Beyond 40 hours per workweek, including holidays and weekends (during season, 8 hours per day off-season). Live on site year round.
Wage: 7 Step Scale, Starting wage $19.00 per hour. Includes housing/Benefits.
General Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Sanilac County Parks Commission, this position supervises and participates in the work necessary to operate and maintain Sanilac County Forester Park.
Qualifications/Skills required High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Parks & Recreation Management or equivalent experience.
Other Requirements: Service to the public beyond a forty (40) hour workweek including holidays and weekends (during season). Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license. Technical knowledge, computer skills, buildings, grounds and mechanical/maintenance experience. Must have excellent people skills.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
