Description
Provides customer support by answering inquiries about products and services and resolving complaints. Handles orders, collaborates with suppliers for accurate pricing, and resolves issues. Assists MAHAR buyers with order entry, acknowledgments, and follow-ups.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to type and navigate a computer system and various types of software without oversight or instruction; must be comfortable using excel
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
- Must be well organized
- Position requires managing and correctly entering large amounts of data within prescribed time limits
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous work in an office environment

Summary
Essential Functions:
- Enter acknowledged quotes into online system
- Follow up on any inquiries or responses from inquiries
- Expedites orders to buyers per customer request
- Follow up with unacknowledged and shipped Pos throughout the day
- Receives and processes quotes and orders via fax, phone, mail, EDI, and e-mail per customer request; verifies pricing and availability
- Maintains and updates information on customer open order report spreadsheet
- Communicates urgent order to buyers and management as appropriate and monitors items until shipment to customer is made
- Helps to eliminate slow and non-moving items in main warehouses
- May generate direct shipment or repair purchase orders
- Consistently run and modify reports in excel
- Interface with vendors as needed
- Assists in troubleshooting receiving and inventory count discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors to receive updated PO information
- Assists with projects as assigned by management
- Works to attain/retain positive relationships with vendors
- Assists management in developing and implementing continuous improvements throughout all functions
