As our Employment Specialist Assistant, you will help job seekers develop effective job search strategies so that they can obtain employment.
The ideal candidate is required to have a High School diploma or equivalent with some experience in business, human resources, case management, career/workforce development, or other areas of social science. Bilingual preferred (any languages). Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and/or Google applications, databases, and websites is preferred.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides customer service to visitors and job seekers in person.
- Assists job seekers to effectively use the Pure Michigan Talent Connect website, including troubleshooting, problem solving, and computer problems, and assisting customers with resumes, cover letters, and job search strategies.
- Registers job seekers for unemployment.
- Navigates federal and state databases.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
CAMW! offers a competitive salary with an excellent retirement plan. Hourly wage range: $16.83 - $22.78.
