The Tourism Information Aide-Seasonal, under the general direction of the Community Development Director, provides customer service through various mediums and directly to the public by answering inquiries requiring considerable knowledge and familiarity of area points of interest, lodging facilities, attractions, and events, as well as departmental
functions on a seasonal basis. This employee is also responsible for compiling, updating, and maintaining a calendar of events in conjunction with local and state organizations, including the upkeep of a photo library. The Tourism Information Aide maintains e-mail correspondence requiring time-sensitive research, maintains and updates a variety of databases for bulk mailing purposes, creates newsletters, group and conference packets, and various welcome letters and fliers. This employee will also perform other related duties as required.
