Zuniga Cement Construction, Inc., a construction company specializing in cement projects for the residential and commercial sectors, is seeking a dedicated full-time Water Pipeline Supervisor within the geographical area of Warren, Michigan. The job will include work sites in the Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne County areas. The water pipeline supervisor will have knowledge with pipeline materials, construction methods, and relevant industry standards.
The water pipeline supervisor will oversee the maintenance, repair, and construction of the water distribution system, including pipelines, valves, and hydrants. Supervise workers to ensure compliance with safety, regulations, and water quality standards.
Zuniga Cement Construction, Inc. will provide all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies to the supervisor at no charge or deposit to complete the job.
DUTIES
- Assign tasks, schedule work, and supervise a team of pipeline workers, operators, technicians and laborers.
- Monitor pipeline conditions, conduct inspections to identify leaks and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Plan and manage pipeline construction projects, coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Lead the response team during pipeline breaks or water emergencies and coordinate repairs to minimize service disruption.
- Enforce safety protocols on the job site to ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety regulations.
- Track project costs, manage expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Effective communications with the crew, contractors and customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimums of 24 months of prior experience required.
- On the job training provided.
- Background check required prior to hire.
