Requires Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or closely related field & 3 yrs experience in account management, sales or application engineering position(s) in the automotive industry: supporting site audits for customer visits; selecting automotive powertrain bearings, including ball, taper & needle roller bearings, and pinion shafts based on customers’ intended applications; performing financial calculations, including P&L analysis, OI, ROI, and contribution margin; preparing annual financial budgets for customer accounts, including gross sales, profit, & monthly and annual volume projections; and applying an understanding of automotive customer needs, including end-use markets, customers, and competitors, to recommend products. Up to 20% US travel & 2-3 int’l trips per yr req’d. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of Ann Arbor, MI.
