Job Title: Part-Time Executive Assistant - Real Estate Office
Location: Farmington Hills, MI 48334 - on-site
Compensation: $30 - $50 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Some Fridays as needed)
About the Role
We are seeking a mature, experienced Part-time Executive Assistant to support the owner and consultant of a small real estate office in Farmington Hills. This part-time, in-office role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a background in Executive support ideally who is a notary and has some real estate experience. The position will last approximately 6 months to 1 year , potentially through the end of 2026 as the office transitions and finalizes operations.
You will be working in a quiet, three-person office managing administrative tasks, sensitive documents, and day-to-day coordination with property management companies. Discretion, efficiency, and the ability to pivot quickly are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Transcribe verbal dictation accurately into written correspondence, memos, and documents
Manage executive calendars, schedule Teams meetings, and coordinate logistics
Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of management
Responsible for handling documentation and reporting across multiple properties
Handle document preparation, printing, mailing, filing, and organization (both physical and digital)
Maintain records and update spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
Coordinate with vendors, management companies, and financial/legal partners as needed
Provide general administrative support to 2 executives
Perform occasional errands (e.g., post office)
Notarize documents (if certified)
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or administrative certification preferred
2+ years of experience supporting executives or in administrative/clerical roles
Prior real estate or property management experience strongly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
Notary Public certification is a strong plus
Ability to pass a base-level drug screen and background check
Schedule & Work Environment
Required Days: Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or 9:30 - 5:30) about 15 hours weekly
Some flexibility possible for the right candidate (e.g., more days with fewer hours)
Occasional Fridays may be required
Office located at 13 Mile & Northwestern Hwy , Farmington Hills
Office includes 3 team members, 3 private offices, and a conference room
Minimal local travel (post office drop-offs as needed)
About the Company
The office is a continuation of a long-standing real estate operation, now focused on asset management and liquidation. No longer involved in active property operations, this role interfaces mainly with management companies and handles sensitive administrative matters.
