JOB TITLE: CNC MACHINIST
REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR
JOB SUMMARY: GENERAL MACHINING
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Properly and safely loads and unloads raw material in CNC machinery
- Use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Must be familiar with HAAS controls
- Understand, interpret, and edit HAAS G-code programming
- Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery
- Communicate thoughts and ideas to co-workers and supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Be able to understand and follow instructions
- Be able to complete on the job training
- Be able to work daily overtime when posted
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be able to stand while working a full shift
- Be able to lift 35lbs
TRAINING REQUIRMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent
AUTHORITY: All employees in this position have the responsibility and authority to stop production due to safety or nonconforming product issues
