ELCo Enterprises, Inc., a local veteran and family-owned business provides the world’s largest line of wire delivery products for MIG and SAW welding applications, along with high performance torch products, anti-spatter, weld cell support equipment and weld cell optimization products & services. We are currently looking for a full time Spring Winding SetUp/Operator at our facility in Jackson, Michigan. Prior experience is not required. On the job training will be provided.
This position is responsible for setting up and operating spring winding equipment ensuring proper dimensions and adjusting machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures and amounts of materials or ingredients. Will ensure that quality expectations are met and record/maintain production data. Inspection of springs using tools such as calipers and gauges is required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in machining or manufacturing positions preferred.
Position requires prolonged standing, lifting, climbing, stooping and bending. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate forklift. Forklift training is available.
