The Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design seeks an experienced Digital Fabrication Studio Coordinator to provide technical support, administrative oversight, maintenance, and organization of the digital fabrication studios and instructional environments.
The Digital Fabrication Studio Coordinator will report to the 3D Studios Supervisor and will be the supervisor of record for part-time student assistants.

- Oversee daily operations of Art & Architecture Building studio spaces
- Prepare studios for faculty and student use
- Assist with or perform classroom demonstrations
- Manage the Digital Fabrication Studio and maintain online resources
- Provide technical guidance to faculty and students
- Maintain and oversee digital fabrication resources for Faculty/Graduate Studios
- Collaborate with faculty and Studio Coordinators to address space, equipment, and technical needs
- Contribute to interdisciplinary studio instruction and unified creative approaches
- Manage and train student studio assistants Maintain equipment, supplies, and studio facilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance and inventory systems
- Ensure studio safety and compliance with university procedures
- Develop studio use policies
- Communicate with university units on facilities and safety matters
- Oversee safe storage and disposal of chemicals and solvents
- Manage user access for studio spaces
- Assist with budget planning, fee collection, expense monitoring, and reconciliations
- Support school events, activities, and special programs
- Undergraduate degree in art/design or related field (or equivalent experience) with relevant studio process knowledge
- Experience with accounting and budgeting
- 2+ years of experience working in a digital fabrication studio or similar environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, and experience with Computer Aided Manufacturing processes including CNC, laser cutting, and 3D printing.
- Experience managing studio spaces, maintaining equipment, and working across digital fabrication, woodworking, and metalworking environments.
- Demonstrated ability to support and facilitate a diverse community of creative practitioners with an understanding of contemporary art and design practices.
- Experience with basic computer applications (Microsoft office, Google Suite)
