Technical Specialist (Troy, MI, or other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.) Responsibilities include: Serving as a bridge between other Software Developers, QA, Field Engineers and IT to ensure company products consistently meet success criteria and help the team with early adaptation of newer technologies and market standards. Engaging with customers, helping them understand how company products can seamlessly integrate into their systems and meet their needs. Prioritizing technology and teamwork to develop, maintain and upgrade company system software and providing innovative software solutions for company software products. Simplifying complex technical software concepts into clear benefits for company clients and exploring opportunities for additional services to help with company product sales. Overseeing critical operations such as software system architecture, system network design, and microservices orchestration, guaranteeing the smooth functioning end-to-end product lifecycle of various proprietary software products. Conducting Kubernetes deployments. Using Linux systems and implementing patches. Conducting vulnerability software assessments and performing system software upgrades. Developing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and performing troubleshooting and cloud cost analysis for different software lifecycles. Working with DevOps specialists to focus on steering software projects towards success, validating new solutions, and ensuring technical documentation is user-friendly and comprehensive.
