Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Architect with a passion for designing secure, scalable architectures for AWS-based solutions. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our cloud consulting services offering. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You'll Do
Develop secure, scalable architectures for AWS-based solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture strategies.
Evaluate and implement tools and technologies that enhance cloud operations.
Ensure the security and compliance of cloud solutions.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
Plan and execute the migration of on-premises applications and data to the AWS cloud
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on AWS best practices
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or relevant work experience)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS architecture and cloud solutions
Proven track record in designing and implementing AWS architectures
Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud security best practices
Proficiency in scripting languages for automation
Knowledge of security principles and best practices for cloud security
Experience with data storage technologies
Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks and standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
Preferred:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus
Experience with Amazon Bedrock is a plus
Experience with high-sensitivity security requirements, such as CJIS is a plus
Experience with Amazon's Government Cloud is a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
