Job Title: Electrode Department Operator
Job Description
Join our dynamic Electrode Department as an Operator, where you will play a vital role in our production process. You will work on a rotating day shift from 6 am to 6 pm, following a schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on, with alternating weekends. This schedule ensures a balance of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next.
Responsibilities
Prepare equipment and materials for production.
Operate equipment in accordance with the OP Manual, input materials, and monitor defects/loss for continuous self-inspection of the product.
Maintain accurate records of production work in the Global Manufacturing Execution System (GMES).
Track all non-conformations and scraps.
Engage in the mixing process, which involves wearing a full mask respirator and handling powders to start the mixing process for 30 minutes to an hour.
Adhere to safety protocols to avoid contact with slurry, chemicals, and potential skin exposure.
Participate in the coding process, which may involve entering oven rooms with temperatures of 330-350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Assist with machinery that handles heavy reels, requiring guided pulling or pushing of up to 75 pounds.
Essential Skills
Minimum 9 months tenure at each previous job.
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Ability to work with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adapt to the environment.
Proficiency in production, cleanroom operations, assembly, and machine operation.
Experience in general production processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Cannot be unemployed for more than 30 days.

The department operates in a clean room environment, necessitating garb and beard nets when applicable. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
