Liberty Tool is seeking an experienced CAD CAM programmer to support an increase in Customer demand.
Reports to: CNC Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Retrieve CAD data from customer files and translate into proper format for the purpose of Design and Changes as required by shop
- Assist in creating designs and complete detailed changes using existing product data to meet customer and shop requirements
- Use blueprints and 3D to determine the most efficient processes, and create programs for HAAS machines
- Select raw material, cutting tools, and other shop supplies needed for specific part requirements
- Create set-up sheets, verify programs, maintain all CAD & CAM information for later duplication
- Work with CNC operators to ensure best machining practices & reduce machining time
Qualifications
- Experience with MasterCAM required
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to program & operate HAAS CNC machines
- Knowledge of metal fabrication, Engineering drawings, dimensions, & tolerances
- Ability to adhere to strict protocols regarding data security
