Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment. Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment. Expert level knowledge of troubleshooting, implementing, optimizing, and testing static and dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, ability to interpret and resolve complex route table problems. Analyse and report computer network security breaches or attempted breaches. Implement of traffic filters on Cisco routes using Standard, extended Access list, and expert-level knowledge about TCP/IP and OSI models. Expertise in the analysis, implementation, troubleshooting & and documentation of LAN/WAN architecture and good experience on services. Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users or user groups. Knowledge in implementing Cisco ASA and checkpoint firewalls. Strong hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and configuring various Cisco Routers and Cisco Catalyst switches. Install network software, including security or firewall software. Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment. Install new hardware or software systems or components, ensuring integration with existing network systems. Test computer software or hardware, using standard diagnostic testing equipment and procedures. Install or repair network cables, including fibre optic cables. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.

Require Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Networking, Tele-Communications Engineering or any related field. Must have at least one (1) years’ experience in the job offered or in the related occupations of Network Engineer, Network Specialist, Cyber Security Engineer, Consultant or equivalent. In lieu of Master's degree and one year of experience, employer will accept Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Networking, Tele-Communications Engineering or any related field., plus five (5) years of progressive work experience in job offered or in the related occupations Network Engineer, Network Specialist, Cyber Security Engineer, Consultant or equivalent. Must have experience utilizing WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, SolarWinds, CCNA, CCNP, PAP, CHAP, Cisco PIX, Cisco ACS, Cisco ISE, Cisco 3750/3850, 4500, 6500, Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k, Cisco ASR, Cisco 9800 Wireless Controllers, Juniper SA SSL VPN, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load balancer.
