Design and implement software required to support the development of new and existing
automotive products. Demonstrate the ability to independently design, develop, and
implement PLC Ladder Logic in Allen Bradley or Siemens Software. Identify, implement,
and integrate controls hardware, including but not limited to PLCs, digital and analog I/O
drives and motors, and safety and sensing components. Read and interpret electrical and
mechanical equipment design drawings, bills of materials, specifications, procedures, and
technical manuals. Participate in the development of Software/Electrical interface
specifications as required. Review and coordinate the flow of information among various
groups and customers, implementing measures to resolve problems, ensure meeting
schedule commitments, and achieve customer satisfaction. Ensure regular and clear
understanding throughout project execution through written and verbal communications.
Participate in defining standards and practices to be adhered to within the department based
on customer standards. Assist in troubleshooting production equipment to identify
hardware and software defects.
Location: 6701 Center Dr., Sterling Heights, Michigan 48312. Domestic travel may be
required up to 30% of the time, depending on company projects and customer requests.
