The Secure Transport Truck Driver is primarily responsible for the secure transfer of marijuana products and payments between licensed marijuana facilities while operating a 26' Truck. The Secure Transport Truck Driver will also interact with our customers at every juncture of the supply chain - growers, processors, and provisioning centers. Though it may seem so, this is not an easy job of delivering packages from A to B -- you will be expected to keep detailed records, communicate clearly, and troubleshoot problems on the go, all the while providing exceptional service to our customers.
This position will put you on the road and on the forefront of a booming industry. As a representative of our company and this industry, you will be expected to showcase the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
Pay
· $20 - 22 per hour
Hours
· Start times are staggered and can begin anytime, as early as 4:00 AM
· End times are never guaranteed or provided, as your end time will depend on the route and how it carries on throughout the day
· Most shifts are 10-12 hours long, some are longer, some are shorter, depending on the route
· Full time drivers must be available at least 4 days a week

Responsibilities
· Responsibly operate a 26' Truck
· Load all orders and supplies and inspect vehicle prior to departure
· Unload vehicle and stage orders in appropriate areas of warehouse
· Adhere to daily Route Summary, GPS and other necessary documentation
· Verify all necessary details at pickups and deliveries - manifests, tags, box counts, labels, etc.
· Appropriately seal and label packages and containers
· Maintain communications with dispatcher and customers - including use of personal phone to call in/out at stops and report any changes or issues
· Present highest level of customer service etiquette in all customer interactions
· Assist intake manager in receiving inventory at facilities
· Attention to detail is a MUST
· Serve as an on-call driver from time to time
Physical Requirements:
· Lift up to 75 pounds, as well as carry, twist, squat, kneel, and lower this load
· Able to drive for long periods of time
· Carry loaded containers through narrow walkways, up and down stairs, around corners
· Enter and exit cargo vehicles and trucks frequently, load and unload deliveries
Requirements:
· Must be at least 21 years old
· Must have valid MI Driver’s License and State of Michigan Chauffeur License
· CDL is a plus, but not required
· Proven experience safely driving 26' Trucks and/or cargo vans
· Minimum of 1 year driving trucks and other heavy duty vehicles
· Must have a good driving record
· DOT Physical Card
· Must be able to pass Motas road test
· Professional and positive demeanor
· Must have reliable transportation
