I.T. Help Desk Technician
This position is responsible for providing superior customer support by resolving customer related technical software and hardware problems. The qualified individual will provide a variety of IT support services essential to the technical operation of the IT department.

This job is based in Grand Rapids, MI and does require in-office work.

What you will be doing:
• Responsible for diagnosing and/or resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents via our ticket system, escalating problems to other members of the IT department as appropriate.
• Provide support to internal customers through the planning and set up of computers, monitors, and other technical products. Troubleshoot, install, remove, train or move, in response to customer requirements.
• Ensure IT support ticketing system tracking and asset information is accurate.
• Install and configure IT approved software applications; troubleshoot and maintain all IT approved customer hardware and software applications.
• Support multi operating computer systems.
• Monitor system and device utilization and develop system configurations for both new and existing equipment.
• Support the development of IT documentation and update this documentation with new or revised information.
• Evaluate usage patterns and incorporate customer feedback into suggestions to improve the functionality or performance of a given system.
• Identify and break down problems using structured problem resolution approaches; and work with network specialists, applications developers, system administrators and security specialists to prevent recurring problems.
• Conduct physical inventory as required of IT equipment throughout the facility.
• Promulgate and assure conformance IT security policies and continual learning and understanding of CMMC framework.
• Learn and assist with support of all Power Apps organizational tools.
What we need from you:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field is preferred. A high school diploma with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Desire to continually learn and be a contributing member of the team.
• Working knowledge of the Office 365 suite.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Willingness and ability to be on-call on weekends approximately one time a month and rotating holiday on call.
• Unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
• Ability to operate a nerf gun and have positive and fun attitude in the workplace
