Stellantis provides information for international vehicle homologation to demonstrate regulatory quality assurance of vehicles related to safety and environmental aspects. This can include engineering and manufacturing process information, and post homologation production test results to demonstrate ongoing compliance. The Conformity of Production (COP) and Audit Lead is responsible for working with the engineering and manufacturing teams to establish activities that will satisfy the requirements for quality assurance. The Conformity of Production (COP) and Audit Lead is responsible for establishing and coordinating audit activities with homologation authorities and supporting the authorities during on-site audits.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
Review vehicle program information to identify the need for audit and COP programs
Develop COP plans and drive COP activities to conclusion
Establish plans for engineering and production process audit and support the teams in demonstrating results that will fulfill agency audit expectations
Manage the regulatory control plan
Manage preparation and on-site audit activities with agency representatives
Manage the resolution of audit findings to completion
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited university
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, quality, or engineering audit
Broad understanding of vehicle and manufacturing systems
Strong collaboration and communication (written and verbal) skills; ability to drive results
Ability to interpret product planning information and develop conclusions
Self-starter who is detail oriented and disciplined
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a Science, Computer, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
Experience communicating with homologation agencies
Experience in global environmental and safety regulations
Working knowledge of global regulatory emissions compliance, testing and certification processes/procedures
