GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision the Senior Clinical Study Coordinator:
· Coordinates clinical research projects in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations.
· Provides technical support to Principal Investigators.
· Analyzes protocol specific requirements and implements quality assurance measures to ensure physician, patient, and clinician compliance.
· Reviews medical record and completes case report forms supporting the primary endpoints of the trial.
· Reports adverse events to medical monitor, FDA, and all other governing bodies.
· Coordinates all external audits and monitoring visits and serves as liaison between institution and sponsor.
· Serves as departmental and system-wide resource.
· Trains and mentors new clinical research personnel.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
· Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical Research, Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, or other closely related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Three (3) years of related experience required.
· Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
· Demonstrated verbal and written skills at professional level required.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
· SOCRA or ACRP certification required.
