Position Summary

Manages the planning & logistics team, including warehouse, inventory control, shipping, receiving, production scheduling and batch kitting. Oversees several team members that perform various duties required to maintain accurate inventory control and prepare inventory for manufacturing or shipment to a customer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads planning and logistics team with clear direction of daily activities and assists them in successful execution of their goals
• Accountable for all projects related to inventory control, planning and logistics within the organization
• Ensures processes are well-documented, up-to-date and all employees are properly trained and evaluated in all areas of their roles
• Maintains and ensures a high level of accuracy of all inventories through strict adherence to processes and attention to detail
• Ensures streamlined communications with all relevant departments within the organization to ensure operational success
• Coordinates daily with off-site warehouses and other sites
• Manages material allocations for production orders and closing of production orders
• Adheres to all established company and corporate policies, procedures, and governmental regulations pertaining to plant safety, environmental issues, and quality standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
