Description
We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Lansing, Michigan. This contract position will play a vital role in supporting the College Connect 4-week summer experience, ensuring accurate data management and thorough documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role is 100% onsite, M-F 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
Accurately input and update data into spreadsheets, databases, and other digital systems.
Create and format well-organized documents using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
Assist in managing data related to the College Connect summer program, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Organize and maintain digital and physical files for efficient record-keeping.
Perform calculations, data validation, and utilize Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP to enhance data accuracy.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through email correspondence and verbal interactions.
Scan and digitize documents while maintaining attention to detail.
Monitor workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Identify and propose solutions for improving processes and efficiency.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of projects and assignments.
Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in data entry or related roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to create high-quality documents with precision and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working both independently and in team settings.
Familiarity with advanced Excel functionalities, such as formulas and VLOOKUP, is preferred. TalentMatch®
