About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting student mental health and helping young people thrive? We're seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our high school team for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a full-time, in-person position working with approximately 300 high school students.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling to students
Support students' emotional, social, and academic development
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
Respond to mental health needs and crises as appropriate

Contract Length: Full academic year
Qualifications
Valid MI School Counselor license (required)
Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or a related Human Development field
CPR certification (if applicable)
TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (if required)
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
