We are looking for dedicated Administrative Assistant to learn and grow with our expanding inhome care business.
Job Type: Expected hours: Full or Part time. 16 – 32 per week. 32 hours is fulltime.
Wages to be discussed during interview based on experience. Virtual and in person paid training.
Responsibilities
- Assist CEO/Founder as needed.
- Perform various clerical or administrative functions.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Suite applications.
- Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Greet visitors, ascertain the purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Transmit correspondence by mail, e-mail, or fax.
- Create and maintain social media platforms.
- Receive and route messages or documents, such as laboratory results, to appropriate staff.
- Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, and use word processing, spreadsheet, or other software applications to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories, or medical records.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies for staff kits, promotional materials, community resource events.
- Participate in community resource events as needed.
Qualifications
Business professional.
Previous experience with in home care business practices/preferred but not required.
Familiarity with administration practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
