Provide effective middle school classroom instruction in English Language Arts (ELA) to
students, utilizing appropriate materials and educational resources. Manage student
behavior to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment. Achieve notable
academic progress among students within a limited timeframe and foster meaningful and
supportive relationships with students to positively impact their academic performance.
Utilize available support networks to address students’ social, emotional, nutritional, and
health-related needs, inspiring and guiding students towards academic success. Facilitate
ongoing discussions and activities focused on enhancing student learning outcomes and
collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive instructional plans.
Coordinate ELA instruction across different grade levels to ensure a cohesive educational
experience and engage in discussions about subject-specific content, exploring innovative
teaching methods. Align curriculum, instruction, and assessments to meet individual
student needs and learning styles, gathering and analyzing data to make informed
instructional decisions. Use formative assessments to regularly assess student progress and
adjust instruction accordingly, implementing differentiated instruction to meet the diverse
learning needs of all students. Contribute to a professional and collaborative work
