Salary Range: $100,000 YOUR ROLE Responsible for creating, documenting, developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency in overall processes. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? * Assist in the development of logistics and supply chain solutions for new and existing customers. * Work as a member of the Operating/Logistics Solutions team to develop solutions and opportunities to generate new business opportunities as well as to increase value opportunities. Identify value to the customer and/or contract. * Design and process mapping; including material and information flows. Define business requirements and document comparison of current system capabilities to business requirements. Analyze existing and new business processes. * Serve in a project management role and support projects from concept to implementation. * Provide training of processes to operators, LS team members and other staff as required. * Visit customer sites to gather information and assist in operational implementations. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or equivalent experience in Logistics. At least three years of relevant experience. * Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Developed skills in process re-engineering/mapping, supply chain concepts, information technology and business development. * Characteristics: Ability to prepare articles, abstracts, journals, editorials, manuals and critiques. High degree of logic, initiative, self-organization and creativity. Developed interpersonal and communication skills. Good presentation skills. This position requires travel, sometimes requiring extended stays in other cities during launch periods. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
