GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the physician, applies, repairs, and removes casts. Assume responsibilities of the orthopedic cast room which includes assisting physicians and staff with application and removal of casts. Traction device set up and adjustment performed per instructions of orthopedic physician.

STATUS: Full Time, 40 hours per week
From the hiring manager: "Prior orthopedic experience, ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Strong communication skills and customer service. Prior splinting and casting experience."
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. At least six months previous clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, Orthopedic Technician. Casting and splinting experience preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current Heart Saver Certification
