THIS IS A NON-CAREER APPOINTMENT THAT IS LIMITED TO 129 HOURS PER MONTH
This position assists with Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Wetland Mitigation and Monitoring and Stream Mitigation and Monitoring Programs. Work shall include but is not limited to inputting data into the mitigation database, providing routine maintenance of wetland mitigation sites, and assisting wetland monitoring staff with site set-up and monitoring of vegetation, hydrology, and soils. Work is performed under well-defined guidelines and assignments are closely reviewed throughout the entire scope of all projects.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Student Assistant position.

Current enrollment in a vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution.
MDOT requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours per semester/term excluding summers and continuously enrolled and earning the required credits.
