Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This position involves working in a wet test department where tasks can be quite dirty. You will be responsible for operating machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps for customers. The role requires following work instructions meticulously to ensure products meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate all machines and testing equipment as per instructions.
Learn and apply gauging techniques to products as required.
Move materials and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock.
Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation as needed.
Understand quality alerts and report issues to the team lead.
Repair defective or rejected production parts daily.
Analyze defects and assist with corrective action programs.
Essential Skills
Manufacturing with at least 2 years of experience as a production worker, operator, or assembler.
Good tenure at each previous position held.
Assembly experience in manufacturing.
Ability to physically lift 40 lbs to stack pumps for shipping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Gauge experience is preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is a newly renovated plant in Warren, Michigan, previously the Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers plant. It features new electrical systems, multiple CNC machining lines, conveyors, carousel assembly equipment, and robotic weld cells. The facility operates with an array of machines including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and welding equipment. The job requires working the 3rd shift from 11PM to 7:30AM, with the expectation to work 7 days a week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
