Key Responsibilities
- CNC Machine Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery to maintain precision and performance.
- Collaborate with production staff to address machine-related concerns and ensure optimal operation.
- Building Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and infrastructure, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with facility upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring a safe and functional work environment.
- Electrical Maintenance:
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues within CNC machines and building systems.
- Perform wiring, circuit installation, and repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of automated systems, sensors, and controls.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Report any recurring issues or necessary upgrades to the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship in a related field preferred.
- CNC maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a deep understanding of CNC machinery and building systems.
- Proven electrical experience, including troubleshooting and repairing machinery and facility systems.
- Familiarity with plumbing and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, and climbing as required for maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
