Work Location: Livonia, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: As part of a team, design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, and enhancements of existing systems for client projects. Gather, analyze, and interpret functional specifications and user/business requirements including security requirements. Develop the security requirements and procedures to comply with customer needs. Design and implement SSO (single sign-on) security solutions for both internal and external applications. Design, implement, and roll out new MFA (multi-factor authentication) capabilities. Analyze the use cases and requirements from applications, systems, and tools across the enterprise to design and implement MFA solutions. Responsible for SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) integration between cloud applications and on-premise applications. Prepare functional and technical design documents for cyber security tools. Plan, research, and design robust security architectures. Design, build, and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment. Align standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy. Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats. Research security standards, security systems, and authentication protocols. Assess the current state of the security environment. Set security measures and controls and monitor networks. Test final security structures to ensure they behave as expected. Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis. Perform both internal and external security audits and analyze security breaches to identify the root cause. Verify the security of third-party vendors and collaborate with them to meet security requirements. Continuously update the company’s incident response and disaster recovery plans. Facilitate security awareness programs and educational efforts. Respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide a thorough post-event analysis. Update and upgrade security systems as needed. Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements. Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities. Test security solutions using industry standard analysis criteria. Respond to information security issues during each stage of the project lifecycle.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience. Position requires 3 months of experience with SSO and multi-factor authentication. 40hrs/week.
