Job Title: Wastewater Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at the wastewater treatment facility located in Muskegon, MI. The technician will perform a variety of mid-complex to complex tasks based on client requirements, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of the facility.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on equipment, including pumps, motors, and probes.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within the wastewater plant.
Execute tasks requiring dexterous use of hands and tools, such as sawing lumber, dismantling forms, and attaching insulation material.
Conduct plant upgrade tasks including re-piping system processes, demolition of old system processes, and replacing existing pumps and motors.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
Apply fundamental principles, terminology, and methodology in assignments.
Understand and apply standard policies and procedures within specific disciplines.
Perform assignments with clear objectives, exercising judgment and decision-making skills as needed.
Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel using picks, shovels, and grading equipment.
Lift and carry building materials, tools, and supplies.
Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
Operate various equipment, such as welders, power tools, generators, and compressors.
Adhere to policies and standards in the Employee and Corporate Health & Safety Manuals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
