Megan Soft, Inc. has an opening for the position of Business Systems Analyst (Ref# BSA514JMN).
Work Location: Livonia, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Gather and analyze business requirements / user problems to determine feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints. Trace requirements throughout the development process and verify adherence using Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Involved in product development discussions. Work with diverse engineering stakeholders to gather requirement, document them, and review with stakeholders. Facilitate JAD (joint application development) sessions and requirement sessions with the business community and development team. Conduct gap analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), SWOT analysis, cost benefit analysis, and ROI (return on investment) analysis. Create risk analysis documents, risk management plan, and business process flows system. Liaise between business and information systems, translate business requirements into technology solutions, create use cases and user stories, and document test plans. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Involved in prototyping new features, proposing implementation feasibility and business relevance. Develop and maintain work plans for deliverables and prepare requirements for hardware installation and controls integration requirements. Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability. Establish functional or system standards to address operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints. Train system users in system operation or maintenance. Plan, organize, execute, and track the complete system level validation of software as per the timelines. Ensure timely completion and solution delivery within schedule and budget constraints. Validate solutions deployed during development to ensure they meet business objectives.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business/Financial Analysis, or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Systems Analyst or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with analyzing business requirements. 40hrs/week.
