Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our 1st shift team. This role involves working within a facility that specializes in creating process and product solutions that enhance mobility safety and environmental sustainability. Our production includes complex metal assemblies utilizing various in-house forming and joining methodologies.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain the mechanical systems of the plants.
Repair machines or systems, including identifying and repairing mechanical problems such as hydraulic or pneumatic line leakage.
Lubricate equipment as necessary.
Make temporary corrective repairs to minimize downtime or production delays.
Generate lists of materials or parts required for maintenance tasks.
Repair, maintain, and install mechanical systems and equipment following blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
Conduct minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Essential Skills
6-8+ years of experience in stamping or rollforming machines.
Proficiency in hydraulic troubleshooting and reading hydraulic prints.
Experience with pneumatic cylinders.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills, including pumps, gears, and motors.
Ability to implement preventative maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.
Experience working in an industrial or automotive setting.
Ability to read high voltage connections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical troubleshooting (120V / 480V).
Experience with 3 phase motors.
PLC Troubleshooting (Siemens & AB).
Robotic Troubleshooting (Fanucs).
Ownership of tool sets and composite/steel toe shoes.

Work Environment
This position is based in a stamping and roll forming facility. The environment may be dirtier due to the nature of the work. Work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Saturday, typically 5-6 days a week, with current production demands closer to 40-45 hours per week. The facility employs 164 individuals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
