The Business Services Manager is responsible for helping to develop a business department. This is a new internal program. We service business members now, but aim to make this a thriving department, as well as begin small business lending in the next few years.
The ideal candidate would be familiar with business accounts and members who require financial services and products to meet their needs. In addition to being the primary point of contact and key relationship manager for the members, the Business Services Manager is accountable for prospecting new business and retaining and strengthening existing relationships. They will also analyze the member's financial and operating strategies and recommend alternative or additional financial services to best meet the member's immediate and long-term personal and business needs.
We need someone who has compliance knowledge, understands the nature of Business Accounts, and has the ability to take previous business knowledge and apply it to our Credit Union. The ideal candidate would have experience managing a team of business account and lending specialists and possess the ability to train and lead a successful team, and that can integrate fully with our operations managers.
This is a great opportunity for someone to start a department from the ground up. This is an entry level management position. The candidate may not necessarily be managing a team the first year.
