Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembler
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $15.50 per hour
Shift - 1st - 8 am to 4 pm - overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time - overtime can be heavy at times
What's Needed?
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, decimal equivalents and proportions to practical situations
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check per the clients requirements
What's the Job?
Simple and complex assembly of parts according to the work order, prints, and knowledge of the unit being assembled.
Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
Operate hand drills, tools, and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
Record all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.
Maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident-free, and healthy work environment.
