Job Description
Seeking a skilled and experienced pipe welder to add to our team. This welder will be assisting with various new construction projects in commercial and industrial environments. This position requires a keen attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
Cut, shape, and join metal pipes using TIG and Stick welding techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Work with various materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and glycol/water piping.
Travel to various job sites as required and work 10 days on/4 days off schedule.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in TIG or Stick welding.
B315 Certification.
Experience with glycol/water piping and boiler systems.
Proficient in working with stainless steel and carbon steel.
OSHA 10 Certification.
Reliable vehicle for travel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in pipe fitting.
Skills in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication.
Industrial welding experience.
Ability to work in food plants or cold storage facilities.

Work Environment
Work in industrial settings, including food plants and cold storage facilities. The shift schedule is 10 days on and 4 days off, with travel work hours from 7 am to 5:30 pm and shop/in-town hours from 6 am to 4:30 pm. Compensation includes $175 per day for travel work, with adjustments if company-provided housing is arranged. Our team of welders always works together, never alone, ensuring a supportive and safe work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
