JOB TITLE: Seasoner/Breaker
DEPARTMENT: 500-PRODUCTION 1ST SHIFT, 550-PRODUCTION 2ND SHIFT

Hourly Wage: $17-19.62/hour
Full-time and Part-time positions available
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for consistent seasoning and transport of product to bagging machines.
DUTIES ANS RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Inspect Product at each stage of the process ensuring high level of quality and consistent presentation.
- Always wear a hair (and beard if appropriate) hairnet and keep hands and uniforms clean.
- Follow duties and responsibilities for each specific role as assigned.
Seasoner:
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Support fry station with sorting chips on conveyor. Season product according to guidelines.
- Place product in hopper. No more than two bins at a time.
- Do not touch bottom of bins when filling hopper with chips.
- Pour chips gently as they are fragile product.
- Fill seasoning shakers with appropriate amount of seasoning.
- In-between loads maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Tote Runner:
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Do not touch the bottom of bins when filling hopper with chips.
- Place product in hopper. No more than two bins at a time.
- Do not overload hoppers to prevent spillage of chips.
- Assure that proper chip flavor is being placed in hopper with proper flavor running on bagger.
- Communicate with supervisor and seasoners to maintain priorities of the production list and support them with proper seasonings when needed.
Breaker:
- The Seasoner/Breaker will cover breaks for other seasoners, tote runners, baggers, and sorters and will be responsible for carrying out the duties of each role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a related field
- Familiarity with CGMP and FDA regulations.
- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment with mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with packaging and sanitizing equipment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain effective communication.
- Previous experience in bagging, inspecting, and tote running
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Must be able to wear a mask when working with strong seasonings.
- Must be able to work in a hot environment.
- Must be able to work in a loud environment with the aid of ear protection.
