TRUMPF Laser Technologies is seeking an experienced, energetic, self-motivated Returns and Repairs Coordinator who will oversee the movement and processing of customer equipment. You will be responsible to collaborate and drive results with various divisions of the company to solve problems and expediently resolve open repair topics for customers. The Returns and Repairs Coordinator will use a variety of soft skills and industry knowledge of best practices to improve the operational efficiency and organizational synergy of the process. Moreover, the ideal person for this role will work with minimal supervision in a fast pace work environment. This position will also require a high level of cross-functionality to other warehouse and shipping responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Repairs:
Create quotes and sales orders in SAP to support customer repair process
Generate purchase orders in SAP for repairs and vendor credit requests
Upkeep tracking sheets with all relevant information to successfully monitor KPIs
Work with offices in Germany to ensure timely repair, follow up on long lead cases and expedite cases as needed
Returns:
Accurately and expediently process all return shipments and update SAP orders accordingly
After thorough inspection, complete transactions in a timely manner necessary for all returns and price adjustments including refunds, exchanges, and credit memos
Responsible to process all warranty / RMA parts that need to be returned to inventory / supplier
Complete vendor return approvals where appropriate.
Warehouse cross-coverage:
Back up for Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Package all outbound part shipments according to best practices for each item to avoid loss/damages
Use SAP Ship ERP software to create shipping labels & paperwork, including any documents required for export purposes
Overall:
Follow-up with customers in a timely manner
Publish, refining and optimize SOPs as needed
Implement digital solutions to streamline processes where applicable (e.g. on-line forms) and push for continuous improvement and refinement of the overall process
Responsible to insure meeting the Management goals (e.g. revenue for open returns)
Responsible to provide cross-training to CSR's / S&R Coordinators to insure redundancy
Travel
Occasional business travel for meetings and/or training will berequired (<10%), this may require occasional overnight stays
Education & Experience
2-4years' experience in fast paced order fulfillment / distribution center preferred. Experience in automotive or industrial parts supply operation is desired. Knowledge of warehousing and inventory procedures beneficial.
Experienced in the use/ operation of warehouse equipment (pallet jack, fork-lift, etc.)
Working knowledge of an ERP software, SAP preferred
Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
Highly organized and can handle multiple tasks
