We are looking for dedicated CNA's to grow with our expanding business. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.
Job Type: Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week. 32 hours is fulltime.
Wages to be discussed during interview based on experience. Virtual and in person paid training.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and monitor for side effects.
- Perform vital sign checks and report any changes in health status to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members regarding client needs and progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, nursing home, group home, or memory care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration practices and vital sign monitoring is essential.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
- Must have reliable transportation with auto insurance and registration in employees name required to take clients shopping, errands, appointments, etc.
